Hello Again,
We have been working so hard on writing. The students have come up with some pretty creative and inventive writing pieces. This has taken place to prepare them to write their Personal Narrative. The Personal Narrative is a story about an event in his/her life that has had a significant impact. This could be the most fun they have ever had, his/her first memories of something, a time they broke a bone, etc. It is not an itinerary or schedule of a vacation. They can write about one specific part of the vacation. We have worked on hooks or leads for the stories, and I do have to say that I hope the rest of the paper is as good as the lead! I have been very impressed! If you would like to see some of the assignments that are coming up, please click on the links on the right side of the page. We will be working on them in class, but in case you need extra help, and can get this help at home, I have attached them. Have a great Day! Keep working hard!!!!

Still Working Hard
Here we are in week 3 (I think). We are working hard and writing so much! We are preparing for our personal narratives. The personal narrative is a story about an event that had an impact on our lives. It can be fun, happy, sad, scary, etc. But, it is ONE story. Not many stories rolled into one. We will do much of this in class, but be thinking about what to write!
I am so impressed with how creative these students are! It is so amazing to hear some of the things they think of! I am so happy to have such wonderful classes.
Progress reports were handed out yesterday (Sept. 2) in class. Please bring them back signed and let's get all of the mistakes taken care of before Parent/Teacher Conference. PTC is next week! Hope to see you there!
